You have been using the same polymers or nonwoven for years? Do you not achieve desired or even required properties of your products? 

It would be our pleasure to support you by using our experience to examine all the possibilities for improving the performance of your products. If requested, we can also enquire about the materials for you.

Substrates, used for coating and laminating, are usually transported on rolls:

• textiles e.g. nonwovens, felts, woven fabrics, textile layers and knitted fabrics (of synthetic and natural fibres)
• paper, paperboard
• films and laminates
• aluminium foil
• foams

Coating or lamination is done with polymers or adhesives with appropriate dies or tools. Common materials are:

• polyolefins e.g. LLDPE, LDPE, HDPE, PP, as well as POE elastomers and copolymers EVA, EBA, EMA
• polyolefinic ionomers, dimers and terpolymers
• thermoplastic polyurethane TPU
• polyesters PET, PBT and PLA, copolyester CoPET
• polyamides PA, copolyamide CoPA
• EVOH
• PTFE / PVDF
• Bioplastics and many other polymers

If requested, we can also accompany the raw material tests at your machine and work out the optimal process parameters. Especially with new polymers where no experience is available yet, this is very helpful and often saves a lot of time.Furthermore, these plastics can also be provided with additives and fillers to improve the following properties:

• colouring with different colours
• UV- and weather-resistance
• water vapour transmission
• fire behaviour
• abrasion and scratch resistance
• surface tension
• haptics and optical properties (different gloss levels)
• chemical resistance
• welding- and sealing behaviour
• antimicrobial
• protection against plagiarism

With pleasure we also help you to check your additives and, if necessary, substitute them with more economical or environmentally friendly additives.

Even though our main focus is on coating and film extrusion, we also receive enquiries from injection moulding companies who have often been able to improve and upgrade their products by simply changing of polymers.

You have less suppliers for your polymers or nonwovens?  Do you have the feeling that your purchases are too expensive? You don't have the time or the possibility to find more suitable suppliers? We will do this for you with pleasure and bring you to the best addresses by our extensive global contacts, suitable national and international supply chains can be established. On request we can also ask for your materials at new suppliers. 

There are product properties that can be achieved neither by material selection nor by additives.  Here, the production plant must be expanded or rebuilt:

• (micro-) perforations
• adhesive applications
• electrical, thermal and chemical treatments
• cutting and converting
• printing and inline marking with identification codes
• multiple coatings and laminations
• surface graining / embossing
• edge sealing and reinforcement

Or are you even planning a new plant? With pleasure we advise you in the conception with the suitable processes and machine elements that are ideally matched to your products to be manufactured. Of course also in cooperation with your preferred machine builders.

In the planning phase, this is much easier and also more effective. It is often more difficult to create the necessary space for subsequent installation or the production routes are not optimally coordinated.

"We've always done it that way!" Are you sure that your manufacturing process is running optimally? Are there still possibilities to produce faster and more effectively? We will be pleased to find out for you by analysing your process in a completely neutral and unbiased way. We have succeeded in reducing a process with 4 production steps to 3, and with a machine modification even to 2 production steps. In addition, the production speed could be increased. This request has absolutely paid off for our customer.

You hold an interesting product in your hands and would like to know what materials it is made of? And how is it manufactured? We will find out for you with pleasure. We know the right testing laboratories for your analyses and will track the test for you until results are available.

If your sales department receives requests that you cannot offer at first view, do not reject them immediately. It is better to discuss them with us - take advantage of our experience.

A product development, modification or adaptation includes the preceding steps: We will look for suitable materials, suppliers and processes for you. If production on your machines will be not possible, we will be pleased to advise you on technical modifications or production alternatives. 

In the case of existing products on the market, we evaluate the patent situation on request. In addition, we check for possible technical added value.

Perhaps you do not want to produce yourself, but only buy the product. This is no problem either. Suitable national and international supply chains can be established by means of our extensive linked global network. 

Your product is now fully developed and finally ready for series production? Then in∙la∙co² can be your door opener for new markets. We research the international market and put you in contact with potential buyers.

You have developed a brandnew product and are thinking about design or utility model protection? Maybe the product is even patentable? We would be pleased to check this for you. In addition, we can also communicate your innovation technically with the patent attorney, work out essential features, draft it as a protective document and accompany it until it is possibly granted by the patent office.

Tip: Talk to us before you publish your idea. In retrospect, it will be difficult to protect your idea.
